- UPS Cable Types 1. AC Input Cable The UPS has an India 3 pin 6 A mains input socket on the back. You connect it to a wall power socket using a standard 3 pin Indian mains power cord with an Indian Type D plug (6 A). 2. Output Power Sockets / Cables The UPS provides output through Indian standard output sockets (typically 6 A or 10 A rated). You plug your devices using their standard 3 pin Indian plug power cords into the UPS output. 3. Battery Connection Cables This model uses external batteries (not built in). You connect them with thick battery cables (24 V DC) between the UPS battery terminals and the external SMF/lead acid battery set. Battery cables are not a typical mains cable but heavy gauge DC wires with ring terminals (size based on battery Ah and distance). 4.
